  • Thinkin' Things Collection 2
  • Thinkin' Things Collection 3

  • Jungle Japes: Toony the Loon's Lagoon is located in the middle of a lush jungle.
  • Level in the Clouds: The Sky-High Islands in Sky Island Mysteries are a series of islands in the clouds, with each hosting a different game.
  • Mascot Mook: The fripples are animated creatures who are colored blobs with weird faces and arms and legs attached to them. They serve as the mascots of the series with appearances in every game and were featured very heavily in advertising. To a lesser extent, Toony the Loon and Oranga Banga of whom the former has a starring game in the series, and the latter has appeared in multiple activities.
  • Musical Gameplay: Activities involving Oranga and his band, and Toony the Loon are themed around copying music or having the player generate simple tunes by programming band members to play on beat.
  • Public Domain Soundtrack: One of the music loops in Collection 2 is a sample of Mozart's "Sonata in C, K.545, 1st movement". Another loop is a sample of "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
  • Space Zone: The Thinkin' Space Outpost which serves as the main menu in Galactic Brain Teasers.
  • Wide-Open Sandbox: Many of the activities, particularly the floating shapes activities, are centered on this concept since the player is not given instructions on what to do and the game acts by itself based on actions they do perform. This is a centralized idea with the games focused on programming and logic.
