The Space Tree is an Idle Game made in The Modding Tree by Randomtuba and released in 2022. It focuses the Space layer from Prestige Tree, which is where you have buildings that improve several aspects of production, with the addition of some original layers that are related to it like the one with dust. Despite the game having only two layers as of v0.1.2 with one taken from another game, they are quite fleshed out and original.

The game is playable here.

This game provides examples of:

  • Achievement System: There are six achievements, with 195 planned. Each of them is earned by progressing in some way and does not affect gameplay.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience:
    • Each layer has its own color. Space is white, while dust is sand.
    • Each dust type is colored differently. Regular dust is sand, moon dust is white, asteroid dust is gray, and volcanic dust is carmine.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Space was just another layer of Row 3 in Prestige Tree, one that doesn't take that long to beat and isn't super fleshed-out. This is a game that is fully dedicated to it, with it appearing from the start and staying relevant for its entirety.
  • Diminishing Returns for Balance: Above 1e50, your point gain is divided by your point gain/1e50 to prevent inflation. This is known as Space Condensing.
  • Diverting Power: Throughout the whole game, you have to allocate space between five Space Buildings. Once you exceed 85 space, you can allocate it to the Spacebar for an extra multiplier to dust and points. However, each Space Building improves the Spacebar's effect by raising it to a power.
  • Export Save: You can export the 3KB+ save to clipboard and paste it into the game.
  • Reset Milestones: The Space layer has three milestones unlocked for accumulating enough space energy. These unlock the Spacebar and sell buttons for Space Buildings so you don't have to respec them all, a multiplier to point based on space energy, and improving formulas from dust gain and point gain from the Spacebar.
  • Skill Point Reset: You can always reset Space Buildings if you need to allocate space differently, but that causes a Space reset. This is later made less useful thanks to options to sell one or all buildings of each type.
