The Grand Uprising is a Game Mod of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones made by Memestaralbert. It is widely considered, even by the creator, to be a general mess, with messy dialogue and map gameplay.

The hack is set on the continent of Fulgias, in a war between Alchemia and Mythril, focusing on the struggles of Nakana and Prince Simon as they fight against Alchemia in an attempt to prevent the Demon King from being revived by his servants Miel and Gerold.

Tropes in The Grand Uprising:

  • Action Girl: Nakana, Lyra, Stephine, Lanesse, Rabin, Juli, Helga, Lucilia, Felice. As in any other Fire Emblem game, there are plenty of female units to use, even if there are less than average.
  • Aerith and Bob: Most names in this hack are German, or corruptions of German names, but occasionally units will have English names such as Raymond, or even named after territories, such as Guam, who according to Memestaralbert, he didn't even know was one.
  • Crutch Character: Dande is a prepromoted Killer unit. Its a shame he gets killed off by Gerold in the Second chapter in the game.
  • Downer Ending: The game ends with Gerold killing off almost every playable unit in the game. With only Helga, Stephine, Juli, Vid, Ivar, Orm, and Felice confirmed within game to live. And according to Word of God: Jahry and Simon surviving to make an appearance in the sequel.
  • 11th-Hour Ranger: In the creatively titled Finale 1 a prepromoted Warrior named Jahry joins Nakana and Simon, and is able to greatly assist in the few maps he is in.
  • Final Boss: The final boss of The Grand Uprising is not actually the Demon King, but his Servant and Witch Gerold who in a twist was actually a magic body double of Gerold.
  • Magikarp Power: There are two units who fit this category, Lucilia, and Aaron. Aaron joins in the 4th chapter of the hack as a level 1 soldier with poor bases and the skill paragon, which doubles Xp Gained, this allows him to spiral out of control with his great availability easily being the best unit in the hack. Lucilia joins as a level 1 Huntress in one of the last chapters of the hack with poor bases, Paragon and a mount. Her potential for growth is rather low thanks to having few maps.
