The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox 3, commonly abbreviated as TDTNTOR 3, is a Platformer game developed by cloakedyoshi on Roblox. It was released on August 15, 2022, and follows the story of you as you go through what remains of Roblox after a nuclear war to find the perpetrator. The game can be found here.

The Day the Noobs Took Over Roblox 3 shows examples of:

  • Affably Evil: Nebulous Noob. He’s shown to care for his henchwoman and the citizens within his castle village. He only really wants you dead because you presumably killed his brother in the first game, and the nukes he launched only sent everything in the blast radius forward in time, with no harm to anyone as a result of one of Bixby's spells.

  • After the End: The game’s entire plot line. Roblox has been ravaged by nukes, and you have to go through a Lonely Door to prevent things from getting worse.

  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: The Obligatory Celebration Ending.

  • Anthropomorphic Food: All the enemies in Welcome to my Barbeque are this.

  • Ascended Extra: Lillian returns from the first game as a plot-important character. She aids you and Ace as you go along your journey, and gives you the rocket boots in the first chapter.

  • Boss-Only Level: The Trial chapters. While each might have a bit of minor gameplay attached to them, the main part of the chapters is the Boss Battle.

  • Brick Joke: The second game had a line of dialogue mentioning a noob, presumably Nebulous, looking for a “Miss Eles”. It’s extremely obvious that they’re looking for nuclear missiles and not an actual person. The secret badge of Chapter One in this game alludes to this, being named “Who is Miss Eles?” The way to get it is to stand atop a missile dud.

  • Cain and Abel: The main villain is King Noob’s brother, Nebulous.

  • Chef of Iron: Gus (and by proxy the player) is this in Welcome to my Barbeque.

  • Collapsing Lair: The Final Chapter sees you escaping the collapsing fortress, optionally rescuing the Noob Brothers by way of Crisis Catch And Carry.

  • Creator Cameo: cloakedyoshi can be found in an alleyway in Chapter Two.

  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Played for Laughs in TDTNTOR III Classic. The entire bonus chapter is stylized after TDTNTOR Classic, and even contains a 1337 puzzle the main story lacks.

  • Edible Ammunition: The Welcome to my Barbeque bonus chapter has the Relish Gun, which does Exactly What It Says on the Tin.

  • Edible Bludgeon: Also counts for X on a Stick, the Welcome to my Barbeque bonus chapter has the Olive Hammer, which is a giant pimento olive on a toothpick.

  • Frying Pan of Doom: One of the obtainable weapons in Welcome to My Barbeque is this.

  • Fun with Acronyms: The name of the song that plays during Chapter 3’s box puzzle segment, PZZL, is this. As cloakedyoshi says in the OST’s official release, “PZZL doesn’t stand for anything… I just wanted to be witty.”

  • Gotta Catch 'Em All: Welcome to My Barbeque has stickers hidden around its waiting room that can be collected for a badge.

  • Guide Dang It!: Each chapter has at least one hidden badge. Unless you know what you’re looking for and how to get to it, expect it to be a long time before you get them all.

  • Halloween Episode: Long Gone, which features a cluster of members from the Teapot Relations Society as they fight off Eye Spy forces while they try to reach the bunker’s Cistern.

  • I Shall Taunt You: There are monitors around the castle in Chapter Eight that were installed specifically to taunt you by the final boss.

  • Legacy Boss Battle: The Miner Noob Bot returns from the second game’s “Doomsday” bonus chapter as the third boss.

  • Later-Installment Weirdness: TDTNTOR 3 is the only game in the TDTNTOR trilogy to lack a puzzle relating to the number 1337.

  • No-Damage Run: Every chapter you could die in has an achievement for this.

  • Old Save Bonus: The game recognizes the decisions you made in the second game. It’s only for the prologue though.

  • Philosophical Choice Endings: The Final Chapter ends in one of these. As the castle crumbles around you, you have to pick to save Nebulous Noob, King Noob, or yourself. You can only save two.

    • Choosing to save only yourself results in you tripping over one of the gems from King Noob’s crown, causing a Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies ending.

    • Choosing to save yourself and King Noob results in a celebration at a bar and diner.

    • Choosing to save yourself and Nebulous Noob results in Nebulous mourning his brother’s death, questioning why you save him instead of King Noob. Years later, he’s now in jail. But now he has a personal vendetta against you, for killing his brother for real this time.

      • Sparing Bixby in Chapter Seven changes the ending considerably, as Bixby helps Nebulous realize that, due to his actions, the only fatality he directly caused is his brother himself.

    • Choosing to save King Noob and Nebulous Noob results in your Heroic Sacrifice. Years later into the future, Nebulous seems to have mellowed out and realized that humans really *can* live with noobs in peace.

  • Load-Bearing Boss: The fight against Nebulous Noob results in the fortress crumbling to pieces… somehow.

  • Musical Assassin: Nebulous Noob fights with his electric guitar and his speakers, utilizing music notes as projectiles
    • The player can become this as well, by buying said guitar from the hub shops.

  • Replay Value: Besides the speed running challenges that have been a mainstay in the series and the multiple endings introduced in TDTNTOR 2, The Challenging Update adds optional challenges to do to gain currency that can be used in the hub shops.

  • Storming the Castle: Chapter Seven has you pushing a payload to destroy a forcefield protecting the castle. Chapter Eight has you infiltrating the castle itself.
