Sonic.EXE Forever (formerly known as Sonic.EXE Remastered) is a fangame of Sonic.exe by Sonic's Gaming Hub. The game itself is designed in the style of unofficial Sonic 1 PC port, Sonic Forever, bringing with it a multitude of new content, as well as compiling three of the earliest Sonic.EXE games together into one.

This fangame contains the following examples:
- Adaptation Expansion:
- The first five victims can be saved through concealed and fairly tricky methods, therefore sparing them from Sonic.EXE's wrath.
- In the full release, the black rings are instead to be found within Special Stages each character needs to overcome.
- Author Avatar: SGH's own OC appears as a playable character in the Round2.EXE portion of the game.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: Originally, the fangame was made as a remake of Sonic.EXE and Round2.EXE in Clickteam Fusion (with Sally.EXE being a separate remake). It eventually evolved into what it is today.
- Guest Fighter: For the Sonic.EXE Simulator mode of the game, not only can you play as Exetro, but a variety of other EXEs as well. These include:
- Glitcher (EXE Glitch Sonic)
- The original Sonic.exe
- SonicClone
- 2011!X (from the official remaster)
- ScratchEX
- Phaton (from Sonic.exe: Phantom Beginning)
- Exetior

- Multiple Endings: Various ones can come up following the Round2.EXE segment, which can only be accessed with the black rings characters can find.
- Worst Ending - simply run out of lives, leading to either the original secret stage or a screen with ExRetro taunting Sonic and the player.
- Good Ending - reach the end of the game with at least one life, with ExRetro meeting his end and the damage he caused being reversed.
- Best Ending - upon reaching the final battle, type "S-U-P-E-R" during the cutscene, and an alternate final battle will play out, also resulting in ExRetro's end. After this, most of the ending is pretty much the same as the Good Ending.
- Player Versus Player: The full game includes such a mode where two players can battle against each other one-on-one, either locally or through online play.
- Retraux: Alongside the main game, Sonic.EXE Forever also includes a classic remake of the original game (buggy physics and all), alongside a Clickteam-based version of Sunky.MPEG and a remake of SONIC, the creepypasta Sally.exe infamously copied from. One of the major modes is also a run of Sonic 1 with the aesthetic and rules of An Ordinary Sonic ROM Hack.
