Slendytubbies is a series of horror games created by Zeoworks. As the name implies, it is a crossover of Slender and the Teletubbies. There are four main games:

  • Slendytubbies — The original game. It plays as your standard Slender clone, but instead of Slenderman and notes, it's Tinky Winky and custards. It was released on December 12th, 2012.

  • Slendytubbies 2 — The second game. It plays identical to the first, but there are now multiple maps each with their own monster. Additionally, two new modes were added: Multiplayer (where two players play together to find the custards) and Versus Multiplayer (where one plays as the White Tubby and the other as the monster). It was released on May 1st, 2014.

  • Slendytubbies 3 — The third game. Unlike the first two games, this one has a singleplayer story campaign with multiple endings. Additionally, there are two more multiplayer modes: An infection style gamemode and a Killing Floor-esque wave mode. It was released on August 27th, 2017.

  • Slendytubbies: Worlds — The fourth and final game. Unlike its predecessors, it takes on a more “chibi” art style. The gameplay keeps the main modes from previous games, with the addition of an open world where it is possible to explore different landscapes to find hats and interact with other players.


The games provide examples of:

  • Abandoned Area: Many of the indoor areas indicate that they were once occupied and have since been abandoned or evacuated, as shown in Chapter 3 with the Satellite Station.
  • Absurdly Spacious Sewer: The Secret Lair looks like a sewer system, and it's one of the smallest playable locations.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Noo Noo full stop. He starts via infecting the main Teletubbies and then he reveals that not only did he corrupt the machines in Tubbyland to do his bidding, he even talks about how he put the virus in the machines that make the New Borns into mindless killers.
  • A.I. Breaker: Elevation completely breaks the enemy AI. They are unable to jump, so all you have to do is jump over an obstacle or rock to render them completely harmless. This is particularly useful in 3's Survival mode where you can kill most enemies without effort or risk... as long as they don't have ranged attacks, or that you still have ammunition.
  • Apocalyptic Log: The Guardian can find in the Cave during Chapter 2 torn diary entries written by an unidentified Teletubby. On the latest ones, the subject writes about a friend of his turning into a monster.
  • Ascended Extra: The Ghost Girl is already an out-of-place character with ambiguous relevancy, yet she was one of the first enemies to have been revealed for Worlds, and she appears on the title screen.
  • Big Bad: Tinky Winky in the first game. Noo Noo for the entire series.
  • Bolivian Army Ending: The Good ending to 3's campaign, where the Guardian and the military prepare themselves for the giant horde of New Borns.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Noo Noo, who infected the custards in the first place, starting this whole mess.
  • Cliffhanger: 3's good ending ends with the Guardian and Military preparing for an invasion of hundreds of New Borns.
  • Darker and Edgier: Obviously, this is a series taking characters from a popular children's TV series and turning them into monsters.
  • Difficulty Levels:
    • The first game provides three time periods, each representing a different "level of difficulty" based solely on lighting.
    • Following an update, 3's Survival mode now features four difficulty levels that affect the amount of damage inflicted by enemies.
  • Elemental Magic: Each boss in 3's Survival mode and Worlds' Sandbox mode uses one to three elemental abilities, which are different for each individual.
  • Gameplay and Story Segregation:
    • There seems to be a clear division between what's there purely for gameplay, and what's actually happening In-Universe. This is noticeable in the Campaign, where you can kill Laa-Laa with a simple rock, while in the next chapter you can hit Po repeatedly with a chainsaw without her being visibly harmed. This is reinforced by the inclusion of elemental powers, and boss battles in Survival mode.
    • New Borns are shown in 3 and Worlds to be some of the weakest and dumbest mutants, yet in previous games and 3's Collect/Versus mode, they are as dangerous (if not more) as virtually stronger and bulkier mutants.
  • Giant Space Flea from Nowhere: Near the end of Chapter 3, the familiar Voice Trumpet in the Secret Center turns out to be the head of a gigantic fighting robot that engages the Guardian in a battle. There is no explanation for its existence on its own.
    • In fact, the vast majority of situations in the Campaign can fall into this.
  • Helpful Mook: Can be mixed with Artificial Stupidity. The enemies in most games patrol around the custards that need to be collected. Given that you have to be very close, or in front of them, to be spotted, what's a good way of making the game easier? Let them gently guide you to the next one.
  • Humans Are Not the Dominant Species: The cancelled Chapter 4 eventually reveals that the human race have been decimated by an epidemy. It is however unknown if the human race is really entirely extinct, and the cancellation doesn't solve the matter.
  • Human Subspecies: Teletubbies. They have been created by a machine that was supposed to create humans.
  • Infinite Flashlight: There's no limit to the battery, which reduces any possible sense of danger.
  • Invincible Boogeymen: All enemies must be avoided as much as possible, with no way of dealing with them. This was later Averted with 3's Survival and Infection game modes, then Worlds to a lesser extent.
  • Lighter and Softer: Worlds is this to the entire series, with a cuter, more kid-friendly style. That doesn't stop it from having its usual Collect mode and its set of spooky-sounding music.
  • Mercy Kill: In 3's story mode, you can give one to Laa Laa in Chapter 2 to put her out of her misery of being an infected or turning into one.
  • Militaries Are Useless: Implied during the Bad Ending of 3, where the military is easily overrun after the New Born horde arrives.
  • Multiple Endings: 3's single player campaign has four.
    • Good Ending - Achieved by denying Noo Noo's offer to join him and beating Po. The Guardian kills Noo Noo and the military soon arrive. However, the military spots a giant horde of New Borns, and they prepare themselves for the invasion.
    • Bad Ending - Achieved by denying Noo Noo's offer to join him and dying to Po's final form. The military arrive sometime later to discover the Guardian's body. Not long after, the horde of New Borns arrive and the military is soon overrun.
    • Evil Ending - Achieved by accepting Noo Noo's offer to join him. Noo Noo takes you to the custard factory along with Po. The Guardian is asked to eat a custard and become an infected, accept this offer and you will see an infected Guardian with Noo Noo stating that he will be the greatest reborn.
    • Regretful Ending - Achieved by accepting Noo Noo's offer to join him but refusing to eat the custard. Noo Noo has Po push you into the pool of custard below, causing you to be infected anyway, albeit with no legs.
  • No Peripheral Vision: Whether in 3's Campaign or Multiplayer, it's quite easy to avoid enemies unless you're right in front of them. Downplayed in the second game, where they automatically spot you from a certain distance.
  • One-Hit Kill:
    • Throughout the series, enemies in Collect and Versus modes kill the players with a single hit.
    • In 3's Survival mode, it takes a few hits for most enemies to kill a player. Bosses are capable of killing players with a single melee attack in harder difficulties, starting with Normal. The Announcer is the only boss that can one-hit kill with the Easy setting.
    • There are death barriers in some levels, generally set up to prevent players from reaching a certain area. One example is attempting to jump over the walls in the Training Maze.
    • In Impossible difficulty, the player becomes a One-Hit-Point Wonder.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: Infected Teletubbies are never referred to as zombies, but as reborns. The level of intelligence seems to vary from one individual to another.
  • Palette Swap: Practically all living characters, even in their early stages of infection, are identical except for their fur color and the occasional accessory.
  • Random Event: Exploring landscapes in Worlds can bring a large wave of New Borns, the sighting of a more powerful enemy usually encountered in Collect mode, or assistance from soldiers to defeat enemies within range.
  • Silent Protagonist: There are no voice lines, screams, grunts, or even dialogue texts, although The Guardian does speak in Campaign.
  • Stock Scream: Tinky Winky's scream is a very popular sound effect often used a lot in YouTube videos, movies and TV shows.
  • Shout-Out: A few.
    • Tinky Winky's second form is a giant, heavily muscled monster that uses its arms to support itself as well as smack the ever loving shit out of you. What is the name of this form? Tinky Tank.
    • Po's monster form greatly resembles a Necromorph. Her level in 2, which is a very futuristic base, also looks like something out of that game.
  • The Dog Was the Mastermind: Noo Noo, who appeared briefly in the first two games and made a minor appearance in the prologue of 3, was the one who infected the custards.
  • Threat Backfire: The exchange before the final battle, provided you choose "Over my dead body" as the Guardian's answer to the offer to join the mastermind.
    Noo Noo: Actually, that's the plan.
  • Wham Line: "I infected the custard, I made them better."
  • Unexpected Gameplay Change: The final parts of Run Away in the third game have The Guardian physically fight The Announcer and (optionally) Po with Dipsy's chainsaw.
