"Oh h-h-hi... gosh, you shouldn't be here! I can't believe this... this isn't right. I can't stay here anymore... you have to help me get out of this place. Listen, this is not a safe place to be. Look, there are creatures here... and I've seen them hurt others like you, ok? But I have something that might help keep you safe."
Teddy Bear

Sleep Tight is a VR Survival Horror Video Game by Bearfoxbear.

You've just gotten to bed, when something strange happens. A Teddy Bear wakes up and discovers you, and then says you shouldn't be there. Why not? Apparently, there's these creatures lurking about the house who won't hesitate to hurt you should they ever get their claws on you.

However, it seems the creatures have a weakness: light. The bear gives you a flashlight that will keep the creatures away, and a pocket watch that will slow down the flow of time for a brief period, buying you precious time to defend yourself. In addition, you also have a lantern that will illuminate areas the creatures might come from, giving you another advantage.

Well, best get ready for the long nights ahead.

The game was released on March the 24th, 2021.

Tropes featured in Sleep Tight include:

  • Featureless Protagonist: All you ever see of yourself is a pair of floating hands... which disappear when they grab something.
  • Floating Limbs: Your hands aren't attached to your body, but just float around in front of you.
  • Hold the Line: The objective of each night is to just survive until 6 AM.
  • Infinite Flashlight: Your flashlight can remain on indefinitely without needing to recharge, which is good, considering it's your only defense against the creatures coming after you.
  • Life Meter: At the foot of the bed is a line of hearts which make up your health. You lose health every time a creature attacks you.
  • Living Toys: The teddy bears.
  • P.O.V. Cam: You view the game through the eyes of the Player Character.
  • There Was a Door: The larger enemies that appear in Night 2 tend to appear by bursting upward through the floor into the room.
  • Wall Crawl: The creatures can crawl along the walls, so you need to check behind you as well.
  • Weakened by the Light: The creatures disappear when the light is shined on them.
