Skunny Kart is a kart racing game released in 1993 by Copysoft as part of the Skunny Squirrel series. It can be played with one or two players, with eight playable characters.

The game is a Mario Kart clone, although it actually copied the source code from Wacky Wheels. It also contains voice clips from other sources such as The Simpsons, The Terminator, and Looney Tunes.

There are seven cups taking place around the world, with a total of 40 tracks, and three different racing modes. Hazards include deep water, pits, and sand.

Skunny Kart contains examples of:

  • Amphibious Automobile: Driving into deep water turns the kart into a submarine.
  • Bottomless Pits: A bottomless pit is one track hazard.
  • Homing Projectile: There is a missile pickup which can be used to target and hit other players.
  • Mascot Racer: There are eight different racers, including the titular Skunny who is a squirrel, a hippopotamus and an octopus. Powerups include a missile for hitting other racers, a turboboost, potions to make the player smaller or the enemies bigger, and a bomb.
  • Nitro Boost: One of the items that can be picked up is a turboboost, which is a frog riding on a rocket.
  • Poison Mushroom: Some of the possible pickup items can slow the racer or cause them to lose time.
  • Wacky Racing: Eight racers driving around colorful tracks, throwing missiles at each other, sometimes turning invisible. Driving into deep water turns the kart into a submarine.
