6 AM at The Chum Bucket is a Survival Horror game by Dave Microwaves Games and released in 2018. The game is a horror parody of Spongebob Squarepants.

Fed up with SpongeBob's unintentional obnoxiousness and Krabs being a greedy Jerkass, Squidward quits his job at the Krusty Krab, and takes up an early morning job at the Chum Bucket. One day, he comes in to find the place seemingly abandoned and Plankton mysteriously dead. The building somehow locks down seemingly by itself, and it doesn't take long for Squidward to realize something is wrong with Karen.

This game is similar to and based off 3:00 AM at The Krusty Krab, but is not connected, nor is it connected to Around the Clock at Bikini Bottom.

This game contains examples of:

  • Abandoned Laboratory: The Chum Bucket is a large, desolate area filled with all kinds of technological items. Apart from Squidward and Karen, it's also completely desolate and quiet.
  • Adaptational Villainy: While Plankton and Karen serve as the antagonists of the show, Plankton's villainy is mostly relegated to attempted theft, and outside of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, he has never done anything nearly as bad as killing fish and making them into chum. Karen meanwhile is little more than a Beleaguered Assistant.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It is never revealed or explained why Karen killed Plankton, nor is it stated how the robot SpongeBob is moving around when the original episode showed it only worked when a brain was in it.
  • Asshole Victim: Plankton ended up being murdered by his wife, but considering that he had been murdering fish and making them into chum, he gets no sympathy.
  • Body Horror: The Appetiser. It's a massive mound of sentient murderous meat. The version of it from the original episode was made of canned meat, but this version is most likely chum, aka fish.
  • Dies Wide Open: Plankton still has his one eye fully open when Squidward finds him smashed dead on his desk.
  • Light-Flicker Teleportation: When the robot SpongeBob is first seen, it's lying lifelessly against the wall. It activating is signaled by the lights flickering and it vanishing.
  • Mythology Gag:
  • Peek-a-Boo Corpse: After entering the Chum Bucket looking for work, Squidward runs into Plankton's office, only for him to find Plankton smashed dead on the desk.
  • Serial Killer: Plankton and Karen had been killing fish and making them into chum.
  • The Secret of Long Pork Pies: Plankton and Karen had been murdering fish and making them into chum.
