The game stars Beebo, a Robot Kid on a quest to destroy the sun with ice cream. In the game, you traverse 6 different worlds, plus some extras:
On April 1st, 2022 durring the Bribbleco Quality Corner a prequel was announced titled Robot 32, with a demo for it released around the same time.
This game provides examples of:
- Amazing Technicolor Population: Knoddy's Resort has humanoid Residents that have blue skin. And their surfboards are actually their faces.
- Hailfire Peaks:
- Turtle Tops is both a Green Hill Zone and a Level in the Clouds.
- Candy Aquarium is a Level Ate and Under the Sea at the same time.
- Hub Level: The Hub, where you enter levels, access Rusty's shop and Duncan's Cans, and use the Level Editor.
- Level Editor: This game has one, where you can make custom levels and upload them for others to play. There is even an option to give tokens to level designers.
- Planet Heck: The Hecklands are a Hellish area filled with (friendly) flaming demons and boiling lava.
- Poor Communication Kills: The Hecklord, the master of the Hecklands, fights Beebo because destroying the Sun would have horrendous consequences for the world and the Hecklands. What he doesn't know is that the Sun actually is evil and bent on destroying the world, and Dr. Smar built an artificial sun to replace it.
- Retraux: The game has a 1990s aesthetic to it.
- Token Human: Rusty is the only character with a human appearance.
- Unexpected Gameplay Change: The final battle against the sun, which is a Shoot 'Em Up instead of a platformer.
- Weird Sun: The Sun has a perpetually angry expression and, apparently, wants to destroy the world. After destroying it, it gets replaced by an artificial sun without a face.
