Welcome to Retro Bowl!
Retro Bowl is a football simulation game released in 2020 for Android and iOS. It features graphics similar to those found on NES games like Tecmo Bowl.The player is given control of a crappy team and must win the Retro Bowl with that team to be able to move on to whatever team they desire. They must manage the best players on their team (called Star Players) as well as manage the front office and coaching staff. Every week, random events will occur that will force the player to make difficult choices (or in some cases, not so difficult).
This game provides examples of:
- Luck-Based Mission: The defense is not controlled by the player, but by the AI. Whether they give up a score on defense is influenced by how good your defensive doordinator and defensive players are. But even with a great defense, you can still give up a touchdown on a crucial drive when you need a stop to win the game.
- Retraux: This 2020 game features graphics similar to those found on old NES games like Tecmo Bowl.
- Rubberband AI: The dynamic difficulty mode gets more difficult when you win and easier when you lose.
