This game provides examples of:
- Button Mashing: The whole game's just mashing X as fast as possible.
- Cue the Rain: When Jason dies, the sky goes dark and it starts heavily raining.
- Foregone Conclusion: No matter how much you mash X, Jason can't be saved.
- Holler Button: A parody of the former Trope Namer.
- Gameplay Grading: There are medals, which depend on how you did your job: copper, silver, gold and platinum.
- Press X to Not Die: Pressing X is supposed to save Jason.
- Retraux: The graphics are very Atari-like.
