Portal Stories: VR is a Game Mod for Portal 2, made by Prism Studios, who also made Portal Stories: Mel. It uses virtual reality to enable a realistic gameplay experience.
Instead of the Aperture Science handheld Portal Device, you must use a 'retrieval tool' (which looks and acts like an excursion funnel), and a teleportation device.
Portal Stories: VR contains examples of the following tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: Sure, you live, but you are not let out. Not in the slightest.
- Blatant Lies: The announcer.
- Bookends: The game starts and ends in the same places
- Scenic-Tour Level: You get to relive the beautiful elevated descent from Portal Stories: Mel - in VR!
