Paranormal Syndrome (Kaii Shoukogun) is a trilogy of RPG Explorer Horror games made with RPG Maker 2000 created by Yuuyami no Kisetsu.
The first game follows the story of 18-year-old high school student Mikoto Himeno, who one day finds herself having to solve a series of paranormal events after her friend Yuka Kajiro tried to do a ritual to summon a spirit into their town. Along the way she teams up with Hitoshi Himuro, a paranormal investigator, in order to put a stop to the hauntings that are happening around the town.

''Paranormal Syndrome' contains examples of:
- Big Bad: The Noh Mask is the embodiment of the curse surrounding Mikoto that is the source of the paranormal incidents around town.
- Evil Mask: The Noh Mask is the Big Bad possessed by a curse that haunts Mikoto and causes all sorts of supernatural hauntings around her.
- Killer Teddy Bear: The first Arc Villain is a spirit possessing a teddy bear that Yuka summoned, and it stalks Mikoto throughout the house.
