Paradiso Guardian
is an indie H-Game metroidvania released in September 2023. It is the year 146 on the Paradisical calendar. Play as Lenga Valentine, a battle angel from the Paradiso Army, sent to reclaim an old floating castle invaded by unknown forces.
Note that the game is not safe for work, so viewer discretion is advised.
This game provides examples of:
- Cave Behind the Falls: One waterfall has a cave that contains a equippable skill, and behind it, a "lounge" where some enemies relax.
- Cast Full of Gay: Lenga has sex with every named character, too.
- Healing Checkpoint: The Save point, represented by Lenga taking a shower or bath, also replenishes your health.
- Non-Standard Game Over: After defeating the first boss, Radian (Lenga's adoptive father) comes and says it's too dangerous for you, and asks for you to abort the mission. If you comply, Lenga goes home, and Radian promises to make curry after. This whole ordeal leads to a game-over, and unlocks an achievement.
- Making a Splash: Floody the Leviathan has water powers, and it's mentioned he's a firefighter.
