Relive the memories of a god. Reclaim your legacy across time. RESIST a thousand-year-old lie.
1000xRESIST is an adventure game developed by Sunset Visitor, a Vancouver-based studio, and published/distributed by Future Traveller. The game was announced on September 20, 2022, released on May 9, 2024, for PC and Nintendo Switch. The game's official reveal trailer is here, and its official website is here.

1000xRESIST focuses on a sisterhood of clones that has copied itself a thousand years past an alien invasion and the extinction of modern society; although the aliens, known as "Occupants", were not hostile, they had brought pestilence with them. The main protagonist is named "Watcher" due to her primary duty in the sisterhood: to preserve and relive the memories of their progenitor, the ALLMOTHER (formerly known as Iris, the sole survivor of the alien attack), so that the sisterhood can continue. However, a rumor among the sisterhood soon leads to a devastating truth: someone has been tampering with their history. It is now Watcher's duty to get to the heart of the matter, and decide which is the better course of action: to keep her sisterhood alive...or to burn it all to the ground.

This work contains the following tropes:

  • After the End: The story takes place one thousand years after aliens invaded Earth and all of humanity, save for a Sole Survivor that's now seemingly immortal and a society of her clones, perished.
  • Clone Army: The sisterhood believes that the ALLMOTHER they're cloned from is stationed in a compound at the frontline of the war against the Occupants, and wish to one day join her in battle.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": Every member of the sisterhood is named after their duty, such as Healer the doctor, Fixer the engineer, and Principal the administrator. The Odd Name Out is Bang Bang Fire, the head of military operations.
  • The Immune: Iris is the sole human that is immune to the illness spread by the Occupants; even the sisterhood, consisting of her genetic clones, need to wear protection in their own compound to survive.
  • Virtual Sidekick: Watcher's "communion", the reliving of the memories of ALLMOTHER, has her accompanied by a floating artificial intelligence named Secretary.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Fixer, who is Watcher's closest sister, is executed for treason near the start of the game for spreading word that the memories have been tampered with and ALLMOTHER is not what she seems, kicking off the main plot.
