Night of the Living Robot is a horror-based Minigame Game created by Martin Walls that released around Halloween 2019. Notably, the game was made as a teaser for the since-canceled game Welcome to Bon's Burgers, which was eventually reworked into The Walten Files.

Lately, Felix has been plagued by nightmares, the contents of which his doctor asks him to describe. You then play through various minigames that represent said nightmares.

This game contains the following tropes:

  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: The Pumpkin Rabbit's design is very smooth and rounded in this game, along with having round Black Bead Eyes. His updated design in The Walten Files gives him oval-shaped eyes and additional detailing to make it more obvious that he's an animatronic.
  • Hair-Raising Hare: The Pumpkin Rabbit is a huge animatronic bunny with a creepy grin and too-small eyes. He's also the only antagonist to appear in all of the minigames.
  • Minigame Game: The game consists of four minigames in noticeably different styles, each representing one of Felix's nightmares.
  • Ominous Music Box Tune: A slow music box rendition of "Mr. Sandman" is played over the title screen, which is completely dark save for a moonlit window and a jack-o-lantern.
  • Plagued by Nightmares: The game takes place within the nightmares of Felix. Said nightmares are a frequent enough occurrence that they're negatively affecting his ability to sleep.
  • Shout-Out: The iteration of Billy the clown that appears in this game is dubbed Wise-Billy and closely resembles the version of Pennywise in the 2017 film adaptation.
  • Survival Horror:
    • In "Spooky Party/Halloween Party", the player must fix the ventilation system of the building they're in while fending off animatronics and other assorted nasties a la Five Nights at Freddy's.
    • "Puppet Show" has the player attempt to survive watching a puppet show in a dimly lit area for six hours by watching out for puppets representing the characters hunting them down and defending themselves properly.
