Millie & Molly is a Homebrew Puzzle Platformer Video Game by Carleton Handley.
The game stars the titular Millie and Molly, a pair of sisters who have found themselves stuck in some strange rooms full of enemies. In order to get rid of the enemies, the two must navigate 100 rooms, which are full of pushable obstacles, and touch the creatures in order to clear the rooms of them.
The game was released for the Commodore 64 in 2020.
Millie & Molly contains examples of:
- Bedsheet Ghost: Some of the enemies in the later levels are bedsheet ghosts.
- Dem Bones: Some of the enemies you can encounter are dancing skeletons.
- Human Popsicle: You can only control one character at a time. The one that's not in control is usually encased in a block of ice until the player switches back to them. They can be used as platforms when they're frozen.
- Level Editor: Unlocked when you clear all 100 stages.
- Mummy: One of the many enemies you can defeat are mummies.
- Name and Name: Millie & Molly, of course.
- Time Rewind Mechanic: If you end up stuck in a level, you can rewind time to get yourself unstuck and approach the puzzle another way.
