Memoirs of Murder is a hidden object game series developed by Eipix Entertainment.

You play a married couple, Aaron and Mary Fletcher, who reminisce about events of the past, in which they find themselves caught in the middle of murder mysteries. Together, they race against the clock to catch the perpetrator before it's too late.

The games listed:

  • Welcome to Hidden Pines
  • Resorting to Revenge
  • Behind the Scenes

Memoirs of Murder have examples to share:

Welcome to Hidden Pines

  • Chase-Scene Obstacle Course: Aaron and Mary pursue Marvin on a boat, having to avoid rocks and buoys in the process.
  • Clear Their Name: The goal of the main game is to prove Mary's innocence in the murder of the mayor's wife.
  • Make It Look Like an Accident: The attempt on William's life via car crash was intended to look like an accident. Mary, however, saw right through it upon further inspection.
  • Sibling Murder: Marvin attempted this on his own brother, William, via chain reaction to blow up the pier. Aaron and Mary prevented that.

Resorting to Revenge

  • Amateur Sleuth: Peter fancies himself as such when Aaron first meets him in the storage room. In the bonus game, his love of mystery solving goes too far when he kidnaps the police dog.
  • Descent into Addiction: Aaron learns that Thomas went into a downward spiral of hanging out in the bar and the casino, which caused him to lose a lot of money and his property.
  • Driven to Suicide: Unable to handle the hardships that affected his life, Thomas resorted to committing suicide by placing himself in front of a train.
  • Human Popsicle: Silvester's body was placed in a freezer after being murdered.
  • Just Between You and Me: Bartholomew's biggest mistake is to tell Aaron about how he planned out his revenge against Mary and (to a lesser extent) Aaron.
  • Police Lineup: Aaron looks through the potential suspects among train passengers after reporting the murder to find the culprit. However, none of them fit the sketch.
  • Stalker without a Crush: Mary and Aaron had to contend with a stalker dogging their every move. The stalker was Thomas's brother, Bartholomew.
  • Thriller on the Express: The game begins aboard a train to Pinecone Lodge, where the mystery begins.
  • Will Talk for a Price: The Santa-wearing seller offers directions to find information for a dollar, even allowing Aaron to take anything useful in exchange for a prize at the casino.
  • Woman Scorned: Having been betrayed by Bartholomew despite how much she loved him, Lyla arrives and corners him with a gun, buying Aaron time to rescue Mary.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Bartholomew intended this for Lyla after she had helped lure Mary and Aaron into his trap. Where he screwed up was when he shot her and failed to make sure she's dead.

Behind the Scenes

  • Crazy Jealous Guy: Josh, who was so possessive of Elizabeth that he hates her being around another boy and forcing her to wear the same fox pendent as he does.
  • Dirty Cop: Officer Scutter.
