Made Man (sometimes with the subtitle "Confessions of the Family Blood" is a third person shooter from 2006 developed by SilverBack Studios, the game was originally developed as "Interview with a Made Man" by Acclaim's Manchester branch but after Acclaim went bankrupt, employees formed SilverBack studios to finish the game.
The game's story spans from The Vietnam War in 1968 to New York in 1989 as the player assumes the role of Joey Verola, who after serving in the Vietnam War, takes part in American organized Crime.
Made Man provides examples of:
- Dark Action Girl: The Triad and Vietcong both have female combatants.
- Dual Wielding: Joey can dual-wield any weapon that isn't the Sniper Rifle, including pump-action shotguns and assualt rifles.
- From Camouflage to Criminal: Joey went from a Vietnam war soldier to a mobster.
- MacGuffin: The Gold serves as this for the plot.
- The Mafia: The game revolves around Joey's life in the mob.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The Vietnam section's background music sounds alot like "The End" by The Doors.
- You ALL Look Familiar: There is a small variety of character models, it's not uncommon to sometimes fight entire rooms of the same enemy.
