King Tongue is an old-school platforming mobile game developed and published by Ankama Games, released on November 19, 2015.
The game's plot centers around the Banana King declaring war on the monkeys, sending out his Banana Army to invade. Playing as the king of the monkeys, King Tongue, you must defeat them, swinging around and throwing enemies using your tongue.
- Airborne Mooks: Over six types of enemies are fought in the air: Bananacopters, Superbananas, Banazais, Banabunkers, Banatunas, and Banaballoons.
- Anthropomorphic Food: The Banana Army are an army of sentient bananas.
- Big Bad: The Banana King.
- Endless Game: Completing all the levels will unlock "Infinite Mode".
- Homing Projectile: Bananazookas, Bananacopters, and Bananosaurs can launch missiles that home in on your character.
- Inflating Body Gag: Unless you grapple them, touching the Superbananas will make them to inflate like balloons, causing your character to harmlessly bounce off.
- One-Hit-Point Wonder: Getting hit even once will cause you to reset.
- Multipurpose Tongue: The gimmick of the game is to be able to extend your tongue wherever you tap, allowing you to throw yourself across long distances or launch enemies.
