Junkyard Truck is a Simulation Game created by Keystone Knight and released on July 27, 2022. In the game you have just received an old truck from the junkyard and you fix it up before taking it on the road to perform various odd jobs. The open-world game allows the player to drive the truck even off-road to complete mission for money which can be used to upgrade the truck with the ultimate goal of building a monster truck capable of everything from long jumps to mountain climbing races.The game features the following tropes:
- Anti-Frustration Features: The truck includes a service manual and the game features a mechanic who can repair the truck for a fee.
- Bland-Name Product: In game food, beverages, and alcohol products have logos based on real-life logos but have fake brand names.
- In-Universe Game Clock: The game features a day and night cycle and one of the requirements is for the player to mind their sleep and food intake.
- Unexpectedly Realistic Gameplay: The player must mind a sleep schedule and food intake during gameplay or they risk health consequences.
- Wide-Open Sandbox: The in-game map is fully open for the player to explore from the beginning of the game.
