Jet Jumper is a Platform Game by Warlock Studio released in 2006 for computers running Windows. You have to manouver the titular Jet Jumper through a course, collecting gems and other power-ups along the way. The vehicle can jump really high and fly at great speeds (the latter depends on the difficulty), but hazards like lava, hurdles, laser gates, and mines it much harder to get through. Complete all levels in a world for a trophy.

This game provises examples of:

  • 1-Up: A "+1" icon grants another life. They respawn every time you restart a stage.
  • Anti-Frustration Features: There's a countdown before every stage in case you need to collect yourself, but there's also the option to skip it with the right mouse button if you don't.
  • Bonus Stage: After every world, there's a bonus stage where you have to shoot as many gems as possible within a certain amount of time.
  • Bottomless Pits: There are no guard rails. Fall off the level and you lose a life.
  • Infinite 1-Ups: Entering a level that has a 1-up with 14 stars lets you collect the star and 1-up, then die to infinitely farm lives.
  • One-Hit-Point Wonder: The Jet Jumper gets destroyed after a single hit, which can happen very easily (there are the standard ways like hitting a bomb or touching lava, but also more unorthodox ones like flipping too high into the air or smashing into a pole).
  • Press Start to Game Over: It's possible to die before the word "ready" disappears by either launching yourself off a wall at an angle or falling out of bounds since you can move to the sides.
  • Themed Cursor: The game's cursor is a green arrow point with a slight tech aesthetic.
