Furwind is a Platform Game by Boomfire Games.
Many years ago, the people of the land lived in peace and harmony under the watchful eye of the ancients. They prayed to them, and received good fortune and plentiful from them. Life was good.
Until...
Darhun, the mightiest of the ancients, felt belittled. So he rose up from the Underworld, determined to get his revenge upon the world for their apparent sleight against him. He did this by poisoning the hearts of the world's inhabitants. Ultimately, his siblings rose up and did battle with him, ultimately sealing him away.
It's been a thousand years since then, and now suddenly, a cult has summoned Darhun in exchange for power. Still weakened from the battle, Darhun has gone into hiding. In order to prevent him from returning, the ancients have created a champion to face Darhun and keep him from spreading his influence.
The game was released on October 25th, 2018.
Furwind contains examples of:
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Enemies in the game include giant wasps.
- Double Jump: Pressing the jump button while in mid-air causes the Player Character to do a flip, allowing them to stay in the air longer.
- Fox Folk: You play as an anthropomorphic fox.
- Ground Pound: The Player Character seems capable of doing this.
- Life Meter: Located in the top left corner of the screen.
