Friday Night Funkin' Chaos Nightmare is a mod for Friday Night Funkin' based on Sonic the Comic. It is based on a scene where Sonic has a nightmare about his Superpowered Evil Side. It consists of one song "Phantasm". The team who made it would later make Friday Night Funkin': Phantom Attack and Friday Night Funkin' — Below the Depths.

Tropes:
- Adapted Out: Unlike other FNF mods, both Boyfriend and Girlfriend are notably absent from this mod.
- Fighting from the Inside: The song is about Sonic struggling to prevent his super form from taking over.
- Musical Nod: "Phantasm" contains a motif of "Angel Island Zone" from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, specifically from the zone's second act. During the second act, Angel Island is set ablaze, causing what was once a peaceful place to be filled with turmoil and danger, just like Sonic.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The normally smug and confident Sonic is clearly unhappy and worried about his super form trying to take control.
- Villain Protagonist: Super Sonic is just as playable as regular Sonic is.
