Eskimo Bob: Starring Alfonzo is a Homebrew Platform Game by Spoony Bard Productions.
Alfonzo just came to Bob and that the seal has gone missing, and asks to help go find him. So, off they go to collect all the fish in each level to advance to the next.
Yeah, that's all there really is to the plot of the game.
The game was founded on Kickstarter on June 8th, 2017. It saw a release on Steam on July 21st, 2017. It also has a sequel, Alfonzos Arctic Adventure.
Eskimo Bob: Starring Alfonzo contains examples of:
- Bird-Poop Gag: There's a brown bird that flies back and forth, and will poop on the Player Character once he's under it. Get touched by the poop, lose a life.
- Continuity Porn: You get references to the show all over the place.
- The walrus can act as a platform, and Alfonzo can move it by poking it with a stick.
- Excuse Plot: You get a picture of Alfonzo telling Bob the seal's gone missing, and saying "Let's go find him!". Then the game starts.
- Ground Punch: Bob can punch the ground beneath him. It's useful for punching blocks he has to get below.
