Cursed is a hidden object game developed by JetDogs Studios and published by Big Fish Games in 2016.

The heroine's fiancé, Albert, was offered a job by the mysterious Justin Alridge for help with reconstruction at his rundown estate. However, when he hasn't been heard from since his departure, she set out herself to the house to find him. However, when she arrives, she discovers there are ghosts, monsters, and demons corrupting the estate and some are bent on stopping her from rescuing her beloved.

She'll have to find a way to end the curse holding the place if she wants to be reunited with Albert.

Cursed haunts these examples:

  • Apocalyptic Log: The heroine finds Justin's diary, where he makes his final confession and expresses his regrets for making an agreement that resulted in him being cursed into an unnatural creature to prolong his life and nearly doom humanity to the demon's bid to cross through the magic gate from the netherworld - all just to get his wife back.
  • Cute Ghost Girl: The little girl is cute for a ghost, aside from her moments where she shows creepy Undeathly Pallor and empty eyes.
  • Deal with the Devil: Justin, while at his lowest emotionally after his beloved wife's death, made a bargain with a demon to bring her back in exchange for creating a gate to allow demons to enter the human realm from the netherworld.
  • Dragons Are Demonic: The stone dragons guarding the path to the gate of the underworld are aligned with the demons that have been spilling out over the years.
  • Haunted House: The Alridge estate is haunted by the ghosts of the people who lived there and by monsters unleashed from the gate, overseen by a malicious demon.
  • Hellgate: In the Alridge estate, an unfinished gate standing as a door for demons to emerge from the netherworld serves as the cause of the curse surrounding the house and the original inhabitants.
  • Hell on Earth: The Alridge estate became a hostile land filled with monsters and hostile animals ever since the gate was created many years ago.
  • I Never Got Any Letters: The heroine finds letters from Albert that were meant to reach her, sharing his experiences and his wishes to just go back to her. However, given how the letters were scattered and kept hidden, it's a sure bet they were never sent as they should.
  • It's All My Fault: Justin blames himself for the suffering he brought upon his estate and for falling prey to the demon's trickery for the sake for his wife. Because of this, when the heroine arrives to find her fiancĂ©, he tries to warn her away and even momentarily banished the demon to protect her.
  • Necromantic: Justin's reason for making a deal with a demon is to bring his wife, Velhari, back to life.
  • Purpose-Driven Immortality: In order to ensure Justin fulfills his end of the bargain with his human lifespan getting in the way, the demon used his power to unnaturally extend his life.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Albert tried to do this once he became too suspicious and horrified at his findings while working in the Alridge estate, no longer caring about the pay he was promised. Unfortunately, he wasn't successful due to his own life threatened by the contract he signed with the demon.
  • Spirit Advisor: The ghosts of the servants appear before the heroine to warn her of the dangers ahead or to give her advice on how to destroy the monster that's blocking her path.
