Caveman Warriors is an Action Platform Game by JanduSoftS.L., inspired by classic games such as New Super Mario Bros., Metal Slug, Trine, Joe & Mac, and Castle Crashers.
One day in prehistoric times, a couple of cave babies are playing just outside of their home, when an alien happens upon them and decides to take them. Well, the alien should have known that those kids would have guardians who would be none too pleased with them being taken like that. And so, four Caveman Warriors (Jack, Liliana, Moe, and Brienne) begin their journey to rescue the kids from their alien abductors.
The game was funded on Kickstarter on March 14th, 2017. It was released on September 22nd, 2017.
Caveman Warriors contains examples of:
- Alien Abduction: The plot of the game is kicked off by two cave kids being snatched by an alien.
- Color-Coded Characters: Green for Jack, red for Liliana, Blue for Moe, and yellow for Brienne.
- Gender-Equal Ensemble: The Player Characters are two guys (Jack and Moe) and two girls (Liliana and Brienne).
- Hyperactive Metabolism: The Caveman Warriors can regain health by eating food.
- Nubile Savage: Liliana and Brienne.
- Prehistoria: Most of the levels in the game are set in a time of both cavemen and dinosaurs.
- Side View: This is a 2D Platform Game, so this view is a given.
- Spikes of Doom: The stalagmites in Death Mountain will damage you if you touch them.
