Burger Restaurant is a series of Adobe Flash games where you have to prepare and serve food (mostly fast food) to customers. If you get the order right and on time, you earn some money. If you earn enough money during the day, you advance to the next one. In Burger Restaurant 4, you can also buy upgrades to make the cooking and serving processes far faster.

These games provide examples of:

  • Artifact Title: Later installments would have you serve ethnic dishes, not just fast food.
  • Art Evolution: 2 makes the art style far more detailed. Things tend to look crisper at a higher resolutions and characters have more unique facial expressions.
  • Blatant Burglar: A thief wearing a mask and striped shirt shows up as a customer. If he starts looking around, click on him to hit him over the head with a bat, or he'll steal your money.
  • Bratty Half-Pint: In 1, one of your potential customers is a young freckled girl wearing a white top and blue skirt. Unlike other customers, she starts with 3 patience stars instead of 4 when she orders, so she'll get angry if she doesn't receive her food quickly. In 2, she's replaced by a different girl with a black bob, red top, and blue skirt, and in 3, a girl with short pink hair and a pink shirt.
  • Fun T-Shirt: One of the client variants In 1 is a morbidly obese guy who wears a shirt that says "I love my life". Good luck keeping it for long, buddy.
  • Hell Is That Noise: In 1, trying to make the player character do something she can't do (for example, trying to give an incorrect order to a customer) makes a loud, jarring noise. Later games toned it down to a softer, lower-pitched noise.
  • Schmuck Bait: 4 has its tutorial tell you to add salad to the burger, then pull a "Gotcha!" as the client asked for ketchup instead. You then have to throw it away and start over.
  • Sprint Shoes: In 4, you can buy green shoes to move 25% faster, red shoes to move 50% faster, or pink sneakers to move 75% faster. This makes going from station to station take up less time.
  • Timed Mission: To beat each level, you have to earn a certain amount of money before the day ends.
  • Tron Lines: The futuristic restaurant in 1 has thin blue lines that go across the floor.
  • A Winner Is You: Each game only shows one screen of text or characters upon beating it.
