Burger & Frights is a short Survival Horror Video Game by Donitz.

You're someone who's first seen outside of a burger joint. You note that it's late, and that you should probably be heading home now. Just bike down the road and you should be there, right?

Well, it isn't that simple.

For some reason, something always happens when you go down the road. And afterwards, you always end up back at the restaurant. What's more, some really freaky things are happening around you. What could all of this mean?

The game was released on September 14th, 2021.

Burger & Frights contains examples of:

  • All Just a Dream: The events of the game were a dream the guy in the car was having after getting into an accident, which happened because he hit the person riding the bike.
  • Always Night: The sky above is always set at night. There's even a full moon in the sky.
  • Bloody Handprint: These appear on the windows of the train when you look back at it from the bloody woman approaching you.
  • Camera Abuse: Hit a temporary obstacle, and a blood splatter appears on the camera for a brief moment. When you die, the whole screen gets covered in blood.
  • The Chase: Two.
    • The first has you being pursued across a bridge by a monster version of the car.
    • The second has you being chased through a tunnel by a giant version of the bloody woman, followed by another chase segment with the car in a narrower tunnel with arms reaching out toward you.
  • Death Is Cheap: If you die, you simply start a little ways back from where you died, which might be an in-game Checkpoint.
  • Head Desk: On the third ride down the street, the guy who drives by is seen beating his head against the steering wheel of the car.
  • Monochromatic Eyes: The bloody woman you see in the game has solid white eyes.
  • One-Hit-Point Wonder: Get caught by a monster, and you're dead.
  • P.O.V. Cam: The game is viewed through the Player Character's eyes.
  • Retraux: The game is rendered in 64-bit polygons.

Have a nice meal.
