- Bad Guy Bar: Where Barry and Craig hang out in some of the Jetpack Joyride Shorts episodes. It's owned by Really Bad Corp.
- Bottomless Magazines: Default weapons are usually this but special weapons from crates are not. Averted with Machine Gun Jetpack in Monster Dash (with the exception of "Death From Above", "Dirty Air" and "Rain of Fire" missions, which have no ground to land on), but played straight in Jetpack Joyride.
- Cool Bike: Monster Dash and Jetpack Joyride feature one named Bad As Hog.
- I Call It "Vera": The shotgun that Barry often uses is apparantly named "Barry the Gun" in 38th episode of the Vlog.
- Jetpack: Machine Gun Jetpack was first introduced in Monster Dash as one of the bonus weapons, but became a staple of the franchise starting with Jetpack Joyride.
- Mooks: Zombies in Age of Zombies, Monsters (including zombies) in Monster Dash and Scientists in Jetpack Joyride, though the latter are harmless.
- Sawed-Off Shotgun: One of the weapons in Age of Zombies, which became Barry's preferred weapon since Monster Dash.
