Arcadia: Order Of The Bit is a Retraux Platform Game created in Stencil, which follows the adventures of Jumptor, Mike, and Livingston as they quest to save the land of Arcadia.
It was developed by Dylan Dabach and released on September 28th, 2016 for PC. It is not sold through Steam or at any other online marketplace, and can only be bought at its website, where you can also download the demo.
Arcadia: Order Of The Bit contains examples of:
- Big Bad: Metal Sentinel. Actually the Dark Master.
- Big Boo's Haunt: The later half of World 6.
- Boss-Only Level: All the boss fights.
- Boss Corridor: The rooms before the boss fights have a long corridor where you see the damage done by the boss.
- Build Like an Egyptian: World 2.
- Cave Behind the Falls: Gamer Cove, the former base of the Order Of The Bit, is in this.
- Death Mountain: World 5.
- Eternal Engine: World 7.
- Everything Fades: Defeated mooks fade out from existence in a second at most.
- Final Boss, New Dimension: You enter a Mirror Dimension to fight the Dark Master's final form.
- Floating Continent: Arcadia itself.
- Gangplank Galleon: World 9, the Airship.
- Goomba Stomp: Jumptron defeats the basic mooks by jumping onto them.
- Green Hill Zone: World 1.
- Hail Fire Peaks: World 3.
- Island of Mystery: Not much is actually explained about Arcadia or any of the Great Treasures.
- Jungle Japes: The first half of World 6.
- Locomotive Level: The Boss of World 6 has this in it.
- The Lost Woods: Also the later half of World 6.
- No Fourth Wall: Mike and Livingston constantly make references to the fact that this is a video game.
- Ominous Floating Castle: World 10. Except it's actually run by The King of Arcadia.
- Palmtree Panic: World 4 is styled in this manner.
- Player Headquarters: Gamer Cove is this.
- Under the Sea: Also World 4.
- Ship Level: World 9.
- The Hero: Jumptor.
- Underwater Ruins: The later part of World 4.
