Apostle is a hybrid Eroge/RPG for Windows created with RPG Maker MV, released by Kamichichi and available on Steam.
One night in the year 2015, the moon turned the color of blood. Monsters began to appear, slaughtering and devouring people. These monsters became known as "Magna". In a final act of desperation to destroy the Magna threat, humans turned to their last resort... nuclear weapons. This day became humanity's "Day of Judgement". 50 years pass with no sign of the Magna, and the fear that once gripped the world has faded into a distant memory. However, that veil of peace is about to end...
Rei Yagami, also known as the Trouble Buster, is a typical high school boy from Dawn City whom other students come to to help with their problems. One day, during a city speech, a portal opens up, releasing a hoard of horrifying monsters, the Magna, that began killing everyone in sight. Rei's childhood friend, Akari, reveals to be an Apostle, a special agent for eradicating the Magna. When she was about to get killed, Rei jumps in to save her, awakening his own Apostle powers.
Afterwards, Rei and Akari get rescued by Exodus, a secret organization created to counter the Magna threat. Learning that they're the sole survivors of the Dawn City attack, Rei and Akari are brought into Exodus to fight against the Magna before they destroy the entire world.
The gameplay has battles being turn-based with a typical experience point system. Ability points can also be gained in order to unlock new skills and magic.
The dating aspect occurs when Rei is by himself after school and can find one of the girls out and about. On weekends, he has the choice of going on a date with one of them. The Eroge part occurs during certain events involving the female party members or with one of the female side characters you meet along the way.

- Akari Kinoshita: Rei's childhood friend who is secretly an Apostle.
- Satsuki Saijou: A spoiled rich girl and heir to her family's company.
- Konoha Jinguuji: A tomboyish girl from a martial arts family.
- Remy Christopher: The laid-back co-captain of Squad 6.
- Kenshin Takeda: The diminutive captain of Squad 6.
- Nana Nanashiro: The resident scientist of Squad 6.
A sequel, Apostle Rebellion, was released on 2022. The game is not related with the 2018 film of the same name.

- Action Girl: All the female Apostles are capable of killing horrifying monstrosities like the Magna.
- Balanced Harem: All the girls get equal focus depending on if the player splits focus on them or focuses on just one the whole playthrough.
- Battle Harem: Rei leads a fight against the Magna with his attractive female companions whom he can romance with.
- Eldritch Abomination: All of the Magna. All of them...
- Eldritch Location: The numerous Megiddos when a tear opens up.
- Memory-Wiping Crew: Operatives of Exodus would memory-wipe any people who witness the Magna and the Apostles who fight them in order to keep the organization secret and to prevent panic.

- New Game Plus: This option is available after beating the game once, retaining levels, skills, and items. Necessary when you want to unlock all scenes.
- Scam Religion: The Astral Church looks innocent enough, but in reality they're a cult for worshipping the Magna and to release them onto the world for "cleansing".
- Timed Mission: Rei and the others find out that Keiko, Emiko, and Sayako, three bully victims, were about to meet a shady dealer late at night, but get cold feet about the whole thing. The dealer then prepares to sic some of his men at them. You have to head straight for the meeting place without making any side-trips as time is of the essence. Failure to get to the place in time will result in Keiko, Emiko, and Sayako getting raped, then horribly killed. Getting to them in time spares the girls from this horrible fate, in which later Rei himself gets a chance to romance with them.
- Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: The gray-clad children who pitch the faith of the Astral Church. When Rei and Kenshin sneak into the church's main headquarters, they witness a group of those children engaging in a human sacrifice ritual where a boy kills a bound woman.
- Walking Swimsuit Scene: The beach scene has Rei in swim trunks while his female companions are all wearing provocative bikinis (Konoha and Kenshin are in one-piece swimsuits though).
- World of Buxom: The girls, especially Remy, are all very busty. Kenshin and Sayoko are the exceptions.
