Adventure B: Inca Curse is an Adventure Game by Artic Computing released in 1981 for the ZX81, 1982 for the ZX Spectrum, 1984 for the Commodore 64, and 1985 for the Amstrad CPC, as part two of an eight-game series, which had its first three installments remastered for smartphones in 2020. In it, you're in a South American jungle and get to explore a yet undisturbed Inca temple. Your goal is returning to the jungle clearing with as much treasure as you can.

This game provides examples of:

  • Dedication: The intro screen mentions that the game is dedicated to Rick and Charles.
  • Gold Makes Everything Shiny: Some treasures are regular objects coated in gold, like a golden bowl, a golden brush, etc.
  • Inventory Management Puzzle: You can only carry five items at a time. It's necessary to drop items that are no longer needed to be able to carry treasure.
  • The Maze: There's a maze in which passages are everywhere. Where you end up depends on the directions, but you need to go north/south first/second and east/west third/fourth.
  • Scoring Points: You earn points for every piece of treasure you have, depending on its value. The maximum number of points is 5000, though the box of the C64 and CPC versions claims that the highest score to date is 6200.
  • Video Game Remake: The game was remade in Unity for smartphones in 2020, with all text commands removed and replaced with simpler buttons, as well as an option to switch between Spectrum and C64 graphics.
  • Where It All Began: To complete the adventure, you have to return to the jungle clearing with treasure, which is the first room you visit.
  • A Winner Is You: Like in the original, you get one congratulations screen and are told to play Adventure C: Ship of Doom (or Alien Space Ship Adventure).
