A Walk In The Woods is a free-to-play Co-Op Multiplayer Horror Game by Something Dark Studios.
For years, dozens of kids have gone into these woods. They go in, but they never come out. And ne'er a trace of them is found. Where did they go? What happened to them?
Despite this, you and your friends have gone on a camping trip in them. Turns out this wasn't the smartest of ideas, as now you're trapped in there with a malevolent creature and his many monstrous children. You and your friends will need to find each other and work together to escape the woods, or else end up as more missing posters.
The game was released on May 1st, 2018.
A Walk In The Woods contains examples of:
- Co-Op Multiplayer: The kids have to find each other and work together to escape the woods.
- Death Is a Slap on the Wrist: When you die, you respawn and have to try again.
- Don't Go in the Woods: In this case, if you do, you're in danger of becoming more of a malevolent monster's inhuman children.
- Fade to Black: Happens whenever your character dies.
- Gender-Equal Ensemble: The kids are two boys and two girls.
- In the Hood: One of the kids you can play as wears a grey hoodie.
- Infinite Flashlight: Your flashlight doesn't seem to ever need a battery change.
- Token Minority: The gang of kids has one black boy, and one Asian girl.
- Would Hurt a Child: The monster's kids will kill you if you touch them.
