Gorilla the Conqueror

During "Bart Gets an 'F'", Homer and his son Bart watch an old black-and-white movie called "Gorilla the Conqueror", which is a spoof of the original "King Kong" film from 1933.

Two scenes were shown in the episode, with the first being when Gorilla was rampaging through a city, he picked up a person and a tree, used the latter as a backscratcher and dropped it onto a crowd of civilians, apparently crushing them to death.

The second scene shown was the ending, where Gorilla was put in a cage and set adrift at sea. Homer cried over the ending, declaring that "It's so unfair, just because he's different!"

The film was shown as part of Big Gorilla Week on the Million Dollar Movies channel and Homer stated that "Gorilla the Conqueror" was "the grand-daddy of them all!"
