Pokémon 1st OP (JP/EN)

Pokémon has had a lot of intros over the years, these two are the most iconic, deepening on which side of the pacific one watches the show. <br><br><br><br>In Japan, the intro was "Mezase ni Pokémon Master", notably sung by Satoshi's (Ash) voice actress Rica Matsumoto. When 4Kids brought the show over to the west, they replaced it with the aptly titled "Pokémon Theme", sung by Jason Paige. Footage of the original OP was rearranged.
