SSBU x Advent Children

The ''Super Smash Bros.'' series is well known for having a metric ton of content that references the origins of its playable fighters, whether that be subtle animations in a fighter's moveset or specific scenes during their reveal trailers. Sephiroth's reveal trailer is one of the most obvious and overt about doing this: many parts of the trailer, particularly the CG animated segments, either reference or outright recreate different scenes from the ''Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children'' anime film. This video from ProsafiaGaming on YouTube shows the aforementioned trailer scenes (shown on the left and in the audio) together with their ''Advent Children'' inspirations (shown on the right).
