Avalanches can take out Armies

MatPat asks, based on the scene from Mulan, if an avalanche can take out an army, and the short answer is yes, as it's happened before in real life. He cites how during WW1, an Avalanche Incident decimated the Italian & Austro-Hungarian armies. MatPat also points out that a cavalry charge has no realistic chance of evading the avalanche.
