Castle and Beckett get into it about the just-released cover art for Castle's first Nikki Heat murder mystery novel, Heat Wave, which features an expy of Beckett herself as the main character... and has her nude silhouette on the cover art. ABC published ten real-life Nikki Heat novels as tie-ins to the show, which, in keeping with this scene, almost all show the protagonist's nude silhouette on the cover.
