A Fetching Plate

In "The Joe Schmo Show," the contestants are presented with a challenge called "A Meal Not Quite Fit for a King." The meals are things like armadillo tails or wombat stomach - all exotic, but not necessarily dangerous or outright awful. And none of them are really real, however, as the show is fake, and only Matt Kennedy Gould, Joe Schmo, doesn't know that it's all fake. So, quite naturally, when he is presented with what is described as being "a fetching plate of a canine feces" (or, quite literally, a pile of dog sh--), he balks and declares that the game is over.
