Romancing the Emperor

If the player character maintains a positive relationship with the Emperor, the mind flayer who protects them from the Absolute, they may then have the opportunity to romance him in Act 3. And during the romance scene, they may also choose to have him assume the form of their Dream Guardian before consummating their relationship.
