Hello, I am NaruHinaFan, as you can tell by my screen name I am a fan of the Hinata/Naruto pairing. I found TV Tropes years ago by accident, I forget what I was searching for, but I can say that TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life definitely came into play, there some shows I was a fan of but now I am not after reading how much of a jerk they were and did not even notice because I unknowingly saw it through Protagonist-Centered Morality. However, the reverse is true as well, whenever I come across something to view, read, etc. I always check it out on TV tropes to see if I will like it. I have come across some very good new things.
My favorite tropes
- Abandon Shipping:
- Eren/Mikasa (Attack on Titan) For me, this ship died a fiery death when I read that Eren said he hated her and was treating her very poorly.
- Combat Pragmatist:
- Fan-Preferred Couple: Mine at least
- Hinata Hyūga/Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
- Hanabi Hyūga/Konohamaru Sarutobi (Naruto)
- Harry Potter/Hermione Granger, originally Harry Potter/Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter)
- America/Belarus (Axis Powers Hetalia), America/Israel (OC)
- Perseus Jackson/Rachel Dare (Percy Jackson)
- Ash/Serena (Pokémon)
- Keitaro Urashima/Mutsumi Otohime (Love Hina), I would have watched if this was canon. I have a deep hatred for Motoko and Naru. Especially Naru. I wished they would have spent the rest of their lives in prison.
- Mizore Shirayuki/Tsukune Aono, but I prefer the Marry Them All route. (Rosario + Vampire)
- Asia Argento/Issei Hyōdō, but again I prefer the multi route. (High School Dx D)
- Rei Ayanami/Shinji Ikari (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
- Aegon "Jon" Targaryen/Daenerys Targaryen (Game of Thrones)
- Maihiro/Nyarko (Haiyore Nyarko San)
- One True Threesome:
- Harry/Hermione/Luna: Not many stories with this pairing that I have come across but a lot of the ones I have are good.
- Gamer Chick: Girls who are good at video games are definitely good in my book.

- Humans Are Special: Very much so, after all we humans were made in the image of God.
- Large Ham
- Meganekko: I generally find girls with glasses cute.
- Nerds Are Sexy: I certainly think so. I value intelligence in someone I would date.
- "Reading Is Cool" Aesop
- Science Hero: My favorite kind of hero. The one that utilizes his brain.
- Science Is Good: I generally believe this. While it can be used for bad purposes, that is because Humans Are Flawed.
- True Companions: Very few tropes give me a W.A.F.F. faster than this trope.
Tropes that apply to me
- Berserk Button:
- Ass Pull: I absolutely despise these. I would wish they did not exist. I see them as bad writing.
- Double Standard and all associated tropes.
- Dumb Is Good and Good Is Dumb: I generally like my heroes to be smart and not lucky idiots.
- Exiled to the Couch: Downplayed. Not so much the trope in and of itself but the Double Standard behind it, good luck finding a husband/boyfriend exiling their wife/girlfriend to the couch.
- Idiot Hero
- The meme 'Murica
- The Needs of the Many: I loathe this saying and the associated saying, "for the Greater Good." I see it as playing God with people's lives. I especially hate it when the one doing the sacrificing will say something to the effect of "I am too important to sacrifice". Making that person not only a Hypocrite but also a Dirty Coward.
- Tsundere: Mostly Type A.
- Book Worm: I love reading, I read a lot more than I watch television.
- Deadpan Snarker: Oh very much so.
- Eagleland: I was born in the United States and still live there.
- Debt Detester:
- Enraged by Idiocy: Downplayed. Not so much enraged as very annoyed.
- Fan Discontinuity: Season 8 of Game of Thrones does not exist in my mind. It is a nightmare scenario by one of the main characters.
- Has a Type: Nice Girl Meganekko geeks/nerds
- Hates Small Talk
- I Just Want to Be Special: To the point one of my favorite maxims is "Why be ordinary when you could be extraordinary."
- Megane: I wear them almost all the time.
- Not a Morning Person: Takes me a while to get up in the morning.
- Not Even Bothering with an Excuse: If I genuinely have a reason, I will give it but if I do not I would just tell you I do not want to.
- Proud to Be a Geek: Oh very much so.
- Reading Is Cool: Oh, yes it is.
- Sweet Tooth: My favorite is chocolate.
- The Teetotaler: I refrain from all alcohol.
