• Exiled from Continuity: Happens to the Mega Man X7 and X8 characters. Alia mentions that a Hunter named "Axl" was killed by Chill Penguin, but I don't think it's the same Axl as the one from those two games. Justified by Word of God: Cyrex stated he intends for his series to only have 5 arcs.
  • It is unclear if Douglas and Lifesaver will suffer the same fate. In fact, the only characters debuting in X5 that appear in X Chronicles are the ones that appear in X7 and X8 (namely, Alia and Signas). Although it may be justified for Cyrex to exile Lifesaver from continuity, due to Lifesaver being The Scrappy for instigating the fight between X and Zero in the games, in X5, as well as the fact X6 might be adapted instead of X5, due to Gate's Adaptational Early Appearance. That said, Douglas' situation is left uncertain, due to his appearance in X6.
