• Creator Backlash: As stated on the main page, the band themselves feel cold towards X&Y due to the troubled production surrounding it. The songs themselves notably got this treatment, with Chris himself stated in 2011 that he didn't like "Speed of Sound" feeling that they weren't able to record it to its fullest potential and during sessions Guy Berryman wasn't fond of "Talk", feeling that it didn't sound inspiring.
• Rarely Performed Song: After the Twisted Logic Tour, most of the songs from the album stopped being performed altogether or rarely got played at all, with the only hit from the album consistently remaining in future setlists being "Fix You".
• What Could Have Been: "Til Kingdom Come" was written to have Johnny Cash as a guest musician in mind. Unfortunately, Cash passed away before the recording of the song.
