- What Could Have Been: World War Hulk was supposed to lead to a new team book called The Renegades, which would have starred Amadeus Cho, Hercules, Angel, Namora, and the Carmilla Black version of the Scorpion. Despite the team getting a Poorly Disguised Pilot in the pages of The Incredible Hulk, editorial ultimately passed on the series (Angel and Namora were also unavailable between the X-Men books and Jeff Parker's Agents of Atlas). On the bright side, the pitch wast then retooled as a Buddy Comedy starring Herc and Amadeus and the rest is history.
