  • Author's Saving Throw: Multiple changes and additional features since launch have aimed for smoothing out many of the complaints received by players. These changes have been added in both patches and features included with the Downloadable Content, including, among other things:
    • The Steam version's Porting Disaster had been cleaned up to at least mitigate the crashes and stuttering.
    • "Inner Discipline" allows players to restrict their Morale cap to their liking regardless of the Fortitude level of any Battlefield, for players who complained about the overall difficulty of the game. This also has the benefit of increasing the rate at which higher-rarity drops are obtained.
    • The choice to retain flags when revisiting a completed Battlefield, which eases the need to track down whichever specific flag(s) a player might be missing in a given map.
    • Icons have been placed under maps showing if a Battlefield has notes, Shitieshou, capacity and potency upgrades for their Dragon's Cure Pot, or Golden Cicadas, as well as whether a player as found them.
    • Players felt that many Martial Arts fell under Awesome, but Impractical unless they were a Game-Breaker due to regular Spirit Attacks being faster, safer, and overall doing more Spirit Damage even if the player didn't have full positive Spirit. Afterward, nearly every Martial Art got a buff in Spirit Damage recovery, making them a much more rewarding option, while Spirit Attacks have been adjusted slightly downward to bring them to a closer level.
    • Extra Wizardry Spells have been added as drops from various bosses. Players can check the Demon Bestiary and Character Directory to see who drops what, and which spells they have already obtained.
    • Up to 8 Wizardry Spells can now be set at a given time between two sets of 4, instead of just 4
    • With the release of Conqueror of Jiangdong, players can have up to six Martial Arts, two sets of 3, on weapons of 5-star rarity or higher, freely swap their inputs to their liking, and can swap common Martial Arts out with materials gained from the new Post Endgame Content, "The Thousand-Mile Journey." Additionally, even 4-star weapons can hold at least three Martial Arts now, and any weapon that fulfills the condition will have a random third Martial Art added by default.
    • An auto-salvage/sell feature has been added, though it must be unlocked. Players can tune the rarities it checks through and what notifications they are given every time they rest at a Battle Flag.
