- Completely Different Title:
- The film is called Rebels With a Causenote in Latin America.
- In Japan, the film is known as Baby Boomer Boys.
- Playing Against Type: William H. Macy, an actor known primarily for serious roles, in a lighthearted comedy?!?! (Pre-Shameless, anyway)
- Star-Derailing Role: Despite it being a financial success and having Critical Dissonance, Tim Allen's film career suffered horribly from Wild Hogs. Since then, the only major feature films he's been in are Toy Story 3 and 4. He's even found success back on TV with his sitcom Last Man Standing, and occasionally shows up in independent films.
- Stillborn Franchise: The film did well at the box office, and there were plans for a sequel, but the director's next film Old Dogs bombed in theaters, leading to a falling out between the director and Touchstone Pictures. They were going to get a different director, but John Travolta refused to return if a different director was hired. Then Touchstone basically was mothballed as part of Disney's reorganization and the sequel was scrapped entirely.
- What Could Have Been: The actual Hell's Angels were considered to portray the villains, but the producers decided against this after the club's protest.
