- Creator Backlash: Pete dislikes both the title, which he didn't choose, and the cover, described by him as "a bad joke that reeks of urine".
- Creator's Favorite: Pete stated that "Bargain" was his favorite song on the album.
- Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: 2023 saw the release of Who's Next / Life House: Super Deluxe Edition, an exhaustive Boxed Set consisting of 10 CDs and a Blu-ray Audio disc and containing a whopping 155 tracks – including a new remastering of the original album, numerous outtakes from the various studio sessions, alternate takes and mixes, two complete live concerts, new stereo and 5.1 mixes from Steven Wilson – and plenty of supplementary material including a 100-page hardback book, a Graphic Novel based on the Lifehouse concept, and reproductions of photos, posters, tour programs, and pin buttons.
- Revival by Commercialization: CSI: Miami's use of "Won't Get Fooled Again" and CSI: NY's use of "Baba O'Riley". "Bargain" was also used in a Nissan commercial.
- Prior to CSI: NY, "Baba O'Riley" was featured in the trailer for A Bug's Life and a year later with American Beauty. Years later, it would be used in the trailer for The Peanuts Movie, as well.
- What Could Have Been:
- Pete Townshend originally planned to follow Tommy with a second Rock Opera-cum-interactive concert experience titled Lifehouse. The project fell apart when Pete couldn't properly explain the concept to anyone else and 8 of the songs were used on Who's Next.
- One rejected proposed cover had Keith Moon in drag as a dominatrix with a whip. This appeared on the tray liner for the CD remaster.
