- Dummied Out: Sal Divita confirmed that Adam Bomb is indeed a hidden character within the game, but also stated that the character was incomplete and there would be no point in unlocking him.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game has never seen an official re-release since the home ports from Acclaim were released. Throwback Entertainment, who owns the rights to the game along with Acclaim's library, has no plans to port the game to other systems. And don't ask Warner Bros., the owner of Midway's arcade games, about it either, since Midway sold the arcade code to Acclaim as part of their porting the game to home consoles.
- What Could Have Been: The game was to have a hidden remake of Robotron2084 hidden similar to Mortal Kombat II's hidden Pong game, but it was scrapped due to memory limitations.
- Other special pins like The Undertaker's were planned but Executive Meddling from the WWF (likely due to Midway's less than squeaky clean past regarding them and due to their Lighter and Softer image in the New Generation era) and time and data constraints on the project resulted in them being scrapped.
- As mentioned on the main page, Adam Bomb was planned but not fully implemented according to Word of God.
- In addition to Adam Bomb, Mr. Perfect was also planned to be playable, but was cut since he no-showed the capture sessions for the sprites.
